TAM STACK
- Air radioactivity monitoring inside hospital wards or industries
- With a NaI (Tl) scintillation detector
- Dose rate display Gy/h, Sv/h or cps
- Pre-alarm/alarm for levels higher than threshold
- Optical/voice signal
The air monitoring system TAM-STACK is designed to maintain air radioactivity levels in those rooms where radioactive material is produced or handled. The system uses the same hardware of the area monitoring system TAM.
The control unit coordinates air suction from each single room, radioactivity level measurement and pipes washing cycle according to a pre-arranged sequence.
When the radioactivity level exceeds pre-set thresholds, the control unit can communicate the alarm condition to other systems such as HVAC through relays outlets.
Standard use foresees that the central unit controls room insulation from and towards the external by sending a signal to ventilation system when radiation is present.
